The ultimate photography adventure across the Patagonia Ice Field, with four guides and six participants.

Imagine yourself hiking across an endless ice field. Then suddenly, Mt Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre emerging in front of you. You’re witnessing something not many have. And you are in company of just a few other people, shooting this unbelievable sight.
This is what this Patagonia Ice Field Expedition is all about. An adventure that goes beyond the limits, to an untouched photography heaven dominated by two of the most famous peaks in the world.

Most of the photography workshops in this area go to the East side of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. In this Patagonia Ice Field expedition we will traverse the ice cap surrounding those mountains and see their West and North faces. Along our crossing, there’s plenty to shoot, the stunning Viedma Glacier and Circo De Los Altares are just a few examples.

We will start our trek in El Chalten and camp during the entire hike. This extremely demanding adventure requires participants to have a high fitness level and the right mental attitude.
Myself, two highly experienced mountain guides and one assistant will guide 6 lucky photographers in this spectacular loop around Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. It will be challenging, but the experience will be unforgettable.
And the uniqueness of the pictures will be our reward.

Applications will open soon. Meanwhile, you can sign up to the priority list through the link below. We will notify you as soon as the bookings are officially open and you’ll benefit of an early-bird discount!
Update 30 Jan 2020 – This expedition is now sold out, but you can subscribe to the waiting list below.
*This expedition is not for everyone. We do offer photography tours in Patagonia that do not require hiking/camping on an ice field. These tours aim to capture majestic Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre and everything in between during the fall. You can have a look here.*
