I took this shot in the Dolomites on a very clear autumn day. When I got there the scene was a bit flat at first, so I had to wait for the sun to raise above the peaks in order for the light to start shaping the landscape. As soon as this happened, the scene started to work well, but there was still a lot of work to be done as you can see from the before / after below.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS I WILL LEARN IN THIS TUTORIAL?
How to work with colors and make your autumn images pop
How to easily clean your images and get rid of lens flare
How to paint haze
How to remove distracting elements and constrain the attention of the viewer to the relevant parts of your images
How to create depth in your images and make them more tridimensional
My entire approach and complete workflow on editing this image
