PERU PHOTO TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 & 2 & 3
Pick up time is around 8pm at Lima Airport, then it’s time to begin our drive towards our first destination, where our photography workshop officially begins. We will check in at our hotel and have some deserved rest.
We’ll take it easy on day 2 and use the day to acclimate and shoot some spectacular locations that don’t require hiking.
On day 3, ready to leave early in the morning to reach our sunrise location, we’ll be immersed in a “secret garden” full of many beautiful and colorful flowers, perfect as foreground for our pictures. There is also a small creek we can use for our compositions.
We will explore different spots and shoot throughout the day as the clouds move around and the light changes. For sunset, we’ll be shooting at a lower elevation.

DAY 4 & 5
On day 4 we’ll depart a bit earlier as we will need to hike 1km on a trail at 4600m to be able to reach the spot. Don’t worry! If you don’t feel like hiking yet, there are plenty of photo opportunities right beside our car.
In the afternoon we’ll drive to our next location and check in in our hotel, then go out and shoot for sunset.
On day 5, another hike of around 2,5km with 300m elevation gain is in our plan. The key is to go slow and don’t rush. We’ll make sure to allow plenty of time for this hike and the reward will be a spectacular view.

DAY 6 TO DAY 10
After our last sunrise shooting in this area, we’ll drive towards the next location, which is around 7/8 hours away.
The next days will be spent hiking & camping in order to get the best shots at the best times of the day. We will explore the area and take spectacular pictures.
The hike is, in total, 12km long and has an elevation gain of 750m. Donkeys will carry our food & gear, including camping gear. There will always be assistants as well and a chef that will cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for us at our basecamp.

DAY 11 & 12
On day 11 we will hike back to the village and spend the night at the hotel. More time will be spent on post-processing instructions.
On day 12, we’ll drive all the way to Lima Airport, where our tour ends.
